Free Shipping Policy
Unfortunately, Sally’s Emporium is changing its free shipping policy as of August 15, 2026, to free shipping for purchases of a total of $75 or more. Up until August 15th it will remain $49.
There have been many changes in how shipping fees are being calculated, especially the USPS which now charges more for items based on box size even for their own boxes. Rates have always been seasonal but the following explanation from my shipping service explains the new policies USPS has decided to implement:
In the last few weeks, USPS decided to shift from a static pricing model to a dynamic one, where rates can now change more often than the cadence of rate updates you may have been used to previously. Here's what that means and how to prepare.
In practice, USPS rates now adjust based on real-time factors such as demand, capacity, and shipping volume, rather than being confined to a single scheduled update, so you can expect pricing to shift periodically throughout the year. These adjustments can happen on a daily or even hourly basis, and won't always come with advance notice.
Rather than send you a separate notice every single time one of these changes rolls out, we wanted to share this context now and set that expectation upfront.
We will be using other shipping services to help keep costs down and still provide the quickest shipping times possible soon including utilization of FedEx and UPS.
